I still hate Six Sigma
Completed two more ToolingU Training modules tonight. I’d forgotten how completely idiotic and backwards Six Sigma terminology is. When you’ve got multiple issues with various causes, that’s “common cause variation”, but when you’ve got a single common cause for multiple issues, that’s “special cause variation”. SMH
Midterm CAD Project
Turns out the assigned midterm project was a LOT less work than the alternate midterm I’d already completed, just a simple floor plan though I did have to eyeball/guess at some dimensions and placements. Done.
Robot Programming
Today’s class was 100% lab, finalizing our TP programs and making videos for the Midterm Project. Not hard, but tedious. Getting through the run of the program on the physical robot kept me a few minutes past the scheduled end of the class. Spring break next week, so no class. If I’m smart I’ll use the time to get ahead on the next round of homework and start the final projects.
